Remove left and top bar

Hello...


I cant remove the numbers in the left side bar, and the letters in the top bar....

I need to make a clean and easy looking changable graph..... It dossent help much if these 2 bars are permantly there. . .

I wish to remove them, so ONLY the full screen content i want is shown. And not the side and top bars with "for me", useless numbers and letters.

Hi and welcome,

To remove the row and column headers which I think you are referring to -

Office button < Excel Options < Advanced < Display options for this worksheet < Show row and column headers - uncheck

There are other options which may "clean up" the screen content.

From - Display < Formula bar - uncheck

From - Display options for this workbook < horizontal/vertical scrollbar - uncheck

Edit - just seen you are on 2010 - this is for 2007 for me so hope it is the same

On the worksheet you want this for:
Click on the View tab in the ribbon and deselect "Headings" in the "Show" area. You can also deselect "Formula bar" if you wish.
