Getting rid of duplicates with the earliest dates

Hi All,

I have a spreadsheet that has many duplicates. How do I get rid of the duplicates by Acc# and losing the one with the earliest date? I've attached an example. I'm using Excel 2010.

Hi Sabbur,

Sort your sheet by the date field and then do an Advanced Filter and check the "Unique Records Only" box in the Advanced Filter Dialog.

This should give you what you want.
