Multiplying by 1 gives wrong answer.

So I multiplying one cell by another and the numbers are 1 and 29.5, however the answer that comes out is 36.88. I just have no words as to how stupid this is.

Solved it myself. Apparently someone thought it was a good idea to make a quantity value for a part a decimal number and just had the columns rounded off. The number was actually 1.25.

Please check whether the cell has value as 1 is containing decimal values after 1.

It might have value like 1.25016949152542.
