have you tried to put a custom button onthe ribbon?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

After press Ctrl-C, try the shortcut Alt-H-V-V at destination cell

hi i want to copy this table from this site

http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/sortable.jsp#sectionType=st&playerType=QUALIFIER&statType=hitting&page_type=SortablePlayer&season=2012&season_type=ANY&sportCode='mlb'&league_code='MLB'&split=&team_id=&active_sw=&game_type='R'&position=&sortOrder='desc'&sortColumn=avg&results=&page=1&perPage=50&timeframe=&extended=0&last_x_days=&ts=1337003089147&tab_level=child&click_text=Sortable+Team+hitting

so, alt-h-v-v doesn't work because i rather click paste special icon on left hand corner.

how can you make custom button for paste text only?

thank you

anyway i found a solution to this by myself...

"You could paste the following into a module in your workbook. Then go to Tools-Macro-Macros, then click on Options and add a shortcut key to your macro (PasteText in the case below). Then copy your text from the internet, select the cell where you want the text to start, and hit your shortcut key (keys, actually)."
