Earlier when I used to insert a serial no. 1,2,3,4,5,... I used to write 1 and 2 in the column then after selection both the cells I used to drag them down till the required serial no. BUT now I am unable to drag them as the '+' sign that used to appear on the right-down side of the selected cell is not being appeared. Pls help.
Also tell how to restore default setting in excel 2007.

Welcome to the forum.
There is an option of "Enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop" which need to be checked....
Press Alt + T + O to get options window.. thanks.
