Help needed in splitting the text and getting the characters at specific places

Hi All,

I have a string of 16 characters. I need to split it into 3 parts (1-6, 7-11 and 12-16 places)

Eg.

String
ABCDEF1234567890

Text1 ABCDEF
Text2 12345
Text3 67890


Please help urgently.

Hi and welvome to the forum.

Are always your data in the same size?

Hi Shakeel and welcome to the forum
if your string is at cell A1 then try this:
for the Text1 ---> Left(A1,6)
for the Text2 ---> Mid(A1,7,5)
for the Text1 ---> Right(A1,5)
