    Time Type Not Matching

I have a spreadsheet in which I am using data combined from two separate resources (as seen on Phone Log and System Log sheets). I am combining the information into the Details sheet. From here I need to create a formula, as seen in J10 of Details, that will indicate if the info in column D is greater than the related info in column G. I can manage that the information isn't matched up linearlly and will be including that in my formula once launching, but I'm stuck on the simple spot of getting the time types to match. IE, for row 10, column D of 7 min and 30 sec is greater than column G of 7 min, but because the times show up differently Excel won't recognize this. Can anybody help me get those times to be the same value type so the J10 formula will say "Too much TO"?

    Thank you!

    Re: Time Type Not Matching

    Hello
maybe you could use hour, minute, second
    e.g.
    =IF(MINUTE(D10)&SECOND(D10)>MINUTE(G10)...
I think people forget the word "THANK YOU!!!!" Do you still know it???

There is a little star ( ADD REPUTATION ) below those person who helped you. Click it to say your "PRIVATE APPRECIATION TO THEIR EFFORT ON THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS "

    Regards,
