how can i NOT copy hidden cells

HI - I need to copy a selection of cells that have hidden rows and columns - how do i copy only the data i need not the hidden cells?

Select cell A1.
Press Ctrl-Shift-End to select the used range.
Press F5 (Goto) | Special ... | Select (tick) Visible Cells Only | press OK
Press Ctrl-C to copy
Go to the target sheet/cell
Press Ctrl-V (this will copy the values)

You could press Paste Special and the effect will depend on what is in the source cells.
