    Conditional formatting depending on cell value

    Hi guys,

    This should be an easy one but can't seam to get it right for some reason...

    Lets say I have a value in A1 ...

    If this value is between :
    85+ = the 72 hour column (A2) would be highlighted
    75 – 84 = 48 hours column (A3)should be hightlighted
    65 – 74 = 24 hours column (A4)should be highlighted
    60 - = 911 Column (A5) should be highlighted

    been trying to do this with conditionnal formation by inputing a formula with IF and AND but don't seam to work proprely..

    Any suggestions?

    Please note that A2..A5 are not columns, they are cells in column A. The COLUMNS corresponding to your data ranges are E..H. All you need to do is select the cells in each column of the table and apply conditional formatting; you need four formulas:
