Making name change in one Excel spread sheet to be entered into a second sheet.

SAMPLE.xlsI have two identical work sheets numbered one to 300. One sheet is called Sellers and the second sheet is called buyers. On the seller sheet I have a list of sellers assigned to help me sell 300 hundred tickets.
My buyer's list has no names until it is purchased, from a seller. When I add a buyer name to the buyer list, I want the seller list to reflect the change, and to show the change by removing the sellers name from sellers list. How can this be done with out cut and pasting? I have added five names to the buyers list to show tickets numbers that were purchased. #1 purchased by Gina Cataldo, #18 Rocky, #63 B Smith, #69 S O'Brien, and #81 Mike Sullivan. can someone show me how to write the formular. I have attached a sample of the spread sheets.

wpsmith9, I am a bit confused about what you are asking, the same is likely true for others. I suggest attaching the spreadsheet you are referring to.

    Hi Steve,
I posted a sample of the two spread sheets. When a buyer is added I need the sell sheet to show the change.

    Thanks

wpsmith9, how do you want the seller list to show the change? What do you want to change within your spreadsheet?

Re: Making name change in one Excel spread sheet to be entered into a second sheet.

    Hi Steve,
Here is the story I am selling 300 tickets. The seller list is a group of people that are helping me sell the tickets. The sellers are holding those particular ticket numbers that range from 1 to 300. Buyer list is when someone actually purchases a ticket. I want to enter the buyers name to know that number ticket has been purchased and the seller is no long responsible for that ticket number. I want to show on the seller list that number name as a blank when sold or with the purchasers name. In other words the sellers list should reflect in some way that the ticket has been sold and the seller is no longer liable for the ticket. So once I add a buyer to the buyer list, I want the sellers list to reflect this in some way or another. Either show as blank as this number is no longer available or show the actual buyers name. I hope this explains all. thanks for your help.

    Bill
