    Hi,

Try Format > Cells > Borders and pick diagonal

    Right Mouse click
    Format Cells
    Borders
    You'll see the diagonal

    Hi,

The only way I know how to do that is to format the cell with Text Alignment centred horizontal and vertical and also wrap text. Then type the first section of data followed by spaces then the next section of data then press enter (you will need to play about with the number of blank spaces)

    re: diagonally dividing individual cell

Why not use the fraction notation of the cell.
Right Mouse click, Format Cells, Fraction ...

wrapping and padding are you only options.

Why the need to double the cells contents. Can you not use multiple cells?

i'm trying to create a cell which may shows what actually I want, but here i'm unable to post that excel sheet, it is on my desktop. suggest a way to post .

Andy, Excel itself very vast n strong in nature, thus, I just create a cell & put few data which place parallel with the diagonal line of the respective cell. Even , in the worksheet, 2 data are placed as diagonal but not 100% parallel with the line (as shown your attached worksheet).

now..... just waiting for success..... when it will come

It would be easier to attach that workbook.

When you reply to the thread, look below the big text box for "Additional Options" or "Go advanced", click the button "Manage Attachments" or the paperclip, click the "Browse" button, find your spreadsheet, click OK, click Upload.

    @petit_prince:
    Forum Rules
Please read and adhere to these simple rules!

    1. Use concise, accurate thread titles. Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change the title of the thread, click EDIT on the original post, then click the Go Advanced button, then change the title. If two or more days have passed, the EDIT button will not appear, and you need to ask a moderator to change the title.

    2. Don't post a question in the thread of another member -- start your own. If you feel it's particularly relevant, provide a link to the other thread.
