Turning a table into a chart with a drop down selection button

I need some help finishing this chart. I am trying to create a line chart showing the failure trend of devices. I have created a table with the data. I have also create a pivot table, pivot chart and slicer from this table. I have created a drop down button on the same worksheet as the Data table. I like the ease with the slicer and pivot table but do not like how big and ugly the slicer filter is. I would rather use a drop down button. How can I make a line chart with the data from the data table and use the drop down button to select individual items at a time rather than viewing all of them at the same time.

I have attached the worksheet I am working with and have I have done so far.

    Thanks.

    Hello
There's a couple of ways I could suggest. As you're using a Table for your data then you can create a chart from this and filter the values you wish to chart. See Chart 1 in my attached reply. Alternatively you can create a dynamic chart from your data using your combo box drop down and the Index function to select data. For this see the Data Table tab. I'm using 2007 so the Slicer is not available to me.

    Hope this helps.
