    Hi tco9998,

Highlight the column that you want to insert before - right click and choose insert.
If I've helped you, please consider adding to my reputation - just click on the liitle star at the left.

How to insert blank cells, rows, or columns.

Well, that's pretty basic; do you need them created automatically or as part of another input? That would require a macro. (Which is pretty advanced).

    Re: Adding Columns

I have 400 rows and i would like to do 400 columns. And my excel sheet stops to column name "IV", not allowing to add more columns to the end. How to add more columns in order to transform 400 rows to 400 columns?

    Hi tco9998,

Excel 2007 is supposed to have 16384 columns are you exceeding that limit?

Excel 2000 and 2003 have only 256 columns and we can't help you there!

    Or are your columns hidden?
