In Sheet 1, say cell B7 has a value 9. In another random cell in Sheet 1, is there a way to do something like this:
=Sheet2!E{value in cell B7}
Meaning, excel will produce:
=Sheet2!E9
I keep getting errors and cannot figure this out. Thank you!

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
Edit: Something like: Return result of second sheet based on cell value

@zabor sorry he change the title though it was ok..
@sadhammer maybe a suggestion for the title "how to use indirect function" or something like that. thanks.
I think people forget the word "THANK YOU!!!!" Do you still know it???
There is a little star ( ADD REPUTATION ) below those person who helped you. Click it to say your "PRIVATE APPRECIATION TO THEIR EFFORT ON THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS "
Regards,
Vladimir
@valady: User doesn't need to know that he can use Indirect function. Also solution doesn't need to include indirect (even it's suggested to avoid id).
Therefore we ask from users to describe their problem not their anticipated solution.
