"File Not Found. Check the spelling of the file. . . "

I wasn't sure whether to post my question in the Excel General or the vba section because I'm not sure what is creating the subject error. I've created a spreadsheet with vba coding, for a user to send spreadsheet data via Lotus Notes email. There is vba coding and has a button to run the macro and code. The whole process works fine and has been working fine for some time. Then, at some point recently, she saved the spreadsheet to her desktop adding _1 to the file name for a backup. Everything continued to run fine until she deleted the this desktop file. Now when she tries to run her main spreadsheet and clicks on the macro button to run the code that emails out the data, she gets the subject error message (her main spreadsheet is saved on a server). When I debug the code at the point where she clicks the button, it runs fine. And it runs fine if I run it on another machine (XP/Excel 2003) that doesn't have that spreadsheet she saved with the appended _1. There is no linking in Edit | Links. I hope this is enough info for someone to recognize the problem. She has XP and is using Excel 2003 and it was developed with the same. Thank you for any help.

If you click on Tools | Macros | Macros..., what macros does it list?

Are they all relative to the "current" workbook ... or do some of them relate to the desktop version of the spreadsheet?

The problem turned out to be a corrupted toolbar button that runs the macro. As soon as I replaced the button, it worked fine. I figured this out (duh) by running the macro through Tools | Macros and selecting the macro I had attached the button too. Thank you for your thoughts TMShucks.
