Good afternoon all,
I was wondering is there a way to implement an IF function to start on a date,
Sorry that was poor wording.
What I have is a time line consisting of two years. Over those two years I have cetain amount of man hours that is occuring each month. I have a formula that breaks my total amount of hours up over the days in the month. Now my problem is, say I have a start day on the 15th of a month, I can only work so many hours half as many hours. I have a formula to calcualte that, but now my total lump sum of hours wont equal my original sum due to this late start.
I was wondering is there a formula I can write to add the missing hours to my very last cell, with it reading it as my last cell. For instance I have two cells one containing a start date and an end date. Can I refrence the end date to activate my sum formula so that I do not manually have to add the difference, and I want to apply this formula to all cells, since I have variable start and finish dates.
Basically I want to set up a condition that will refrence my date ie, Dec 2014 and and apply it to all cells but in the month of Dec 2014 the contition will add the difference to that months hours
Thanks In advance
