macro in excel to find value in access or Mysql and validate if exist or not

Hi master's!

I have a problem!!..

I need a macro to:
1) find a value (item) in an access database and return the legend: if found-> "found" or "not found".
2)That also doesn't have a data range, it's neccesary to search in all active cells in excel. (variable range of dates depending the data)
3)Alternative, I have a MySql database with the same database, but I don't know how find the value..

I'm create the connection to access database, but I don't know the function for this process..
