    Cell Parsing

I have a cell that contains someones name and then a username. I need to separate this cell into name and username column.

Here is an example of what I have in every cell,

    Alex Barracka AB87897

I need it in the format
[Name Column] Alex Barracka [UN Column] AB87897

Every Username is 7 characters long and always on the end of the first cell.

    Re: Cell Parsing

    =TRIM(LEFT(A2,LEN(A2)-7))

    and

    =RIGHT(A2,7)
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Re: Cell Parsing

You could do it 2 ways:

    1) Use "Text to columns" under "Data" (Ribbon), or

    2) Assuming your data starts in A2, then in B2 for name use:

=Left(A2,LEN(A2)-8) and in C2 for username use:
    =Right(A2,7)

    And copy the formulas down.
