how to search multiple col/row table wit multiple criteria to return lowest value

I need to search a 6 col, 2000 row table to find 3 items that match 2 and sometimes 3 criteria and return the lowest value of the multiple items that match.
    Any help would be appreciated!!!

    Mitchellt,

    Welcome to the forum!
Your post is rather vague, but sounds doable. My first reaction is to use an array-entered (Ctrl+Shift+Enter) Index/Min/If formula. Hard to give you any specifics though. If that suggestion is enough to get you started, then awesome! However, if you would like additional help, then:

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

To attach a file to a post, click "Go Advanced" and then click the Paper Clip icon to open the "Manage Attachments" dialogue.
    Hope that helps,
    ~tigeravatar

Thank you for the welcome! I created a sample spreadsheet with before and after and think I have attached it. I hope this clarifies what I am trying to accomplish. Thank you for the help.

    Mitchellt,

Attached is a modified version of your example workbook. First, I had to convert all of the numbers to be actual numbers instead of numbers stored as text. Then, in cell G3 and copied down is this array formula. Note that array formulas must be entered with Ctrl+Shift+Enter and not just Enter. That's how the formula gets the curly braces {} around it, so don't try to type those in manually:

Then in cell D3 and copied down is this regular formula:

Thanks tigeravatar. That worked perfectly. Now I will move it into my spreadsheet and I should have the lowest costs on the products I use. Thanks again!
