    Lookup Statement

I am trying to build something that says for every time ="x" is in column g, to display a value "y" in the adjacent cell in column H. I tried doing a =IF formula however I have more than 7 different combinations and therefore cannot use that.

    Re: Lookup Statement

it is too large. I want to be able to say, in one cell, everytime any cell in G="X" input "Y" in the adjacent in column H, then everytime any cell in G="X2" input "Y2" in the adjancet in H, and so one for about 10 combinations.

    Re: Lookup Statement

Note, for the LOOKUP to work, you need to make sure that the first array, {d1,d2,d3,d4,d5,d6,d7} is in ascending order.... and the second range must be correspondent to the values in the first range.
