    Drop down Yes or No fields require different result

    Hi again,

    need some help and i hope i can clarify it enough.

    I have drop down down menu containing Y and N. I want a formula so that when i set N (no) the result is 0 (zero) and if Y (yes) i want to be from a specified cell i set.

    For example in cell A10 i have Y and N drop down menu. When cell A10 is N the amount in cell B10 is 0 and when in cell A10 is Y then in cell B10 the result would be the amount located in cell C10.

    If there are only two values in the A10 drop down then the following formula placed in B10 should work:

    =IF(A10="N",0,C10)

    I can't see any errors with this. See attachment. B10 returns 0 if A10 = 'N' and the value of C10 if A10 = "Y".
