VLookup for multiple look up value?

    Hi there,

I have a list of excel sheet that contains multiple same number for the lookup value, how do I obtain the answer?
    For example:
    Loan Due Date Interest Paid
    0776 03/01/2011 900.00
    0776 04/01/2011 894.97
    0776 05/01/2011 889.92
    0776 06/01/2011 884.84
    0776 07/01/2011 879.74
    0776 08/01/2011 874.61
    10021 03/05/2012 2,643.44
    10021 04/05/2012 15,996.51
    10021 05/05/2012 15,952.10
    10021 06/05/2012 15,907.55
    10023 01/01/2012 7,653.70
    10023 02/01/2012 11,547.01
    10023 03/01/2012 11,524.06
    10023 04/01/2012 11,501.03
    10023 05/01/2012 11,477.93
    10023 06/01/2012 11,454.75
    10029 09/01/2011 1,137.84
    10029 10/01/2011 34,280.06
    10029 11/01/2011 34,235.62
Loan Number would be my first lookup value, then second value would be month because I would like to consolidate all the data on the next sheet group by month. If I have on the Next sheet to consolidate all the loans horizontally,

    Layout like:

    __________ 03/2007 __________ 04/2007
    __________ Interest Paid_________Interest Paid

    0776
    10021
    10023

What would be the vlookup formula? Would it be a combination with Match? I have also attached a sample in excel. Thanks!

The quickest way to summarize your data by month would be to use a Pivot Table.

Select your data and click Insert > Pivot Table. Drag the Loan field to the Row Labels section. Drag the DueDate to the Column Labels section. Drag the InterestPaid field to the Values section. Right-click on any of the dates in the pivot table and choose "Group..." and then select "Month" and "Year" (both should be highlighted) then click OK.
