Question Conditional Formatting Apply to multiple Cells

    Hi,

i want to apply the conditional formatting with the same concept as done for cell "E6" to be followed for the respective cells b\w 'e6' to 'e12000' or so

the concept example , i have showed in the attached file , and i m unable to do this by copying the formatting of this cell , if someone can help me with this it would be great.

    Reason : b\w Red and Green -

When the value of 'E' column is b\w the range of 'F' and 'G' then there is a green sign , when the range is exceeding or below the range , the color is red.

    Thanks,

You need to make the row relative in the format rule,

    i.e. change =$F$6 to =$F6

Hello ganesh, welcome to the forum.

I extended your conditional formatting formula. To extend it further, simply change the range under the Conditonal Formatting Rules Manager. Let me know if this helps!

Why are you not able to copy the conditional formatting down using the fill handle and selecting fill formatting only?

your other option is to go to the home ribbon and click conditional formatting and then select manage rules. Then, under the "Applies to" section, type those cell references in there, I think you said E6:E12000.

Edit: I gotta be more quick!
