Critical value in a chart

Hello Everyone!

I have created a simple bar chart - time (five months) on the horizontal axis and value (from 0 to 10 000) on the vertical one.
I need to put a critical value (for example 7 000), so that over this value the bars are colored in other color. Thus, I want to show when, during this period, the critical value has been reached.

Is that possible, and how?

Yes very possible.

You need to setup another column of data and then use the secondary axis.

Let me see if I can find a sample.

EDIT: What version of Excel are you using?

Column C data is plotted on the secondary axis.

It would be good if you update your profile with your MS OFF version.

No need for secondary axis. Just set the Overlap for the 2 column series to 100%
