    Help needed with INDEX MATCH...

    Hi Guys,

I'm new here so please bare with me.

I've searched this forum and can't seem to find what I'm looking for so if someone could point me in the right direction (either to a different thread or to just help with the problem) that would be great

Ok, I've been using excel for around 9 years, but for the last three years I haven't needed it in the job I was doing. Now I do and I'm having trouble remembering some things I used to do with me eyes shut!

I have a table with multiple values (Name, WorkComplete, WorkForecast, FromDate, ToDate).

I need to extract into another table the data for a specific name.

Can anyone give me a virtual slap in the face to wake me up to this please as I'm going round in circles at the minute??!

    Thanks in advance!

    Example Table.xls

do not use Merged Cells - use Centre Across Selection, instead.

    see if this helps.

CSE, aka Array aka { }, formulae are confirmed with CONTROL+SHIFT+ENTER.
Replace commas ( , ) with semicolons ( ; ) in formulae, if your locale setting demands.
All good ideas are courtesy resources from this forum as well as others around the web.

    Hi icestationzbra,

Thanks for the swift response - however when I open this file it won't display correctly (I'm using Excel 2003) so I don't know if it will work.

Could you convert it to .xls and repost please?
