    Hi persson121,

I think you are asking about screen resolution, which is a function of Windows. Read http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...een-resolution

I have my screen set to 1920x1080 on my laptop and have an external monitor that has more resolution.

Was this the question you were asking?

Or do you mean you want to zoom in on the chart so that it takes up the whole screen?

You mean make everything disappear except the chart itself. This is possible with vba so you will have to allow macros to run when the workbook is opened. Also navigation to non-chart pages will have to be with Ctrl + PageUp and Ctrl + PageDown since the sheet tabs will not be visible. If you are interested then let me know.

In the picture you posted you have a red rectangle. I am assuming that you only want to see what is inside the rectangle (ie. no ribbon, no tabs, no formula bar, etc.). This can only be done with vba. Zooming will zoom in on the chart itself but all others will still remain.

You also have a zoom slider at the bottom right of the Excel window. You can zoom in and out all you want from there.

Yes, the mouse scroll wheel can zoom Office products. See http://www.ofzenandcomputing.com/zanswers/163/

When you make a chart you can "grab a corner handle" of the chart and make it as big as you want.
If you want to minimize the toolbars you can get this to almost fill the entire screen.
If you want it bigger you might look at copying and pasting it into PowerPoint and show it as a slideshow.

My best advice is to try it and see what happens.

Look at all the ways the mouse can be used in Excel at:
