Highlighting dates in a calander

Hello,

I am new round here so please be gentle! haha

I have a calendar (each cell is a single date) in cells B3:BA9

I have a list of events listed in a row, from E15 to E35

Each event has a priority (ranked 1,2,3,4), in B15 to B35

And each event has a start (Q15 to Q35) and end (W15 to W35) date

I want to highlight each event in the calendar with all the priority 1 events being one colour, all the priority 2 events another colour, etc.

How would I go about doing this?

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for your post - I need to be careful what I post up as there is a fair amount of sensitive company information contained within this workbook. I will see if I can make a dummy page with the same information a little later.

A quick question, is this likely to be a conditional formatting solution, or a macro of some sort?
