    conditional formatting to highlight special characters in range of cells

    I need a macro for conditional formatting a range of cells from C9:C6000 to highlight the cells that contain special characters other than "dot".
    (Column C contains only text)

    Tried the code... But nothing happened.
    Cells with special characters were not colored.

    In that first four entries contain special characters and they are colored.
    I need like that please.

    One more help please

    Can u include a code to display message box
    If special character found stating " Special characters found in cells highlighted Green color"
    else " Special characters - NIL"
