Excel counting with multiple criteria

I want excel to count the number of times a "0" is displayed in columns A & B, but not when a BLANK is there. I also only want it to count this for a further selection of criteria.

Example:

ItemNumber ColumnA Column B

1 0 0
1 0
1
2
2 0 0
2

What I would want from this is to spreadsheet to count how many times ColumnA & Column B are both "0", for item 1, and to count how many times item 2 has "0" in column A and B on a seperate sheet of the spreadsheet.

Any help much appreciated.

where Sheet1, column A:C contain the data...

This checks that column A contains a 1, while B and C contain 0
