Convert list of text links into Hyperlinks?

Dear forum member:

I have list of text links which I want to convert to hyperlinks.

I copied and pasted the html code into a notepad, then I removed html tags and kept only 2 columns with a comma between 2 columns.

example of comma separated text: www.ajli.org,www.ajli.org


I imported .txt file into excel 2010, then modify each column as ‘text’. I used a Marco to convert text links. I followed these 2 links to import .txt file then use a Marco to convert text link into hyperlink. After conversation, I click on the link, it says “Can’t open specified file”.

It appears that the script you used converts the text to a link to a file so when clicking the link it looks for the file on your computer not a website. The suggested alternative that is posted in the comment section of the same website http://www.jerryleventer.com/excel-t...to-hyperlinks/:
