    hide by conditional formating

    Dear all,
    I am attaching a file, In this file i wanted to hide some cells.
    if c8,c9,c10 is blank then d8,d9,d10 should not show the balance value .
    in the mean time that formula iside the cell should not be removed.
    Any help will be highly appreciate.

    You can do it with Conditional Formatting using this formula:

    =C5=""

    and set the format as having white font

    I've done it for column D

    I don't think so. By making it C4 you lose the opening balance. And the :40 has no meaning to the CF.

    But, whatever works for you.

    New quick method:
    Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

    Or you can use this way:

    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save
