    How to remove blank cells

hey guys i have a sheet with merged cells.

my trouble is when i copy the data in merged cells to another sheet i get a blank cell next to the cell with data. this is all macro controlled so i need to be able to move this data in a macro and have blank cells removed.

any ideas how? as i need this data to create pivot tables. so merging the cells on the sheet it is pasted to will not allow a pivot table to be created.

You give already the perfect answer.

Don't use merged cells (and if you have them, remove them).
