    Display most frequent occuring name

This is an easy one, I feel like I just do not know the correct formula... but anyway...

I have a long column of names (text) in my spreadsheet, and I want to display the name that appears the most amount of times. I would also like to format the formula where if I filter the information related to each name, the result will change. For example I would like it to look like this:

    77041 Bob
    77041 Bob
    77032 Bob
    77032 Jen
    77032 Jen

    Most Frequent = Bob
Most Frequent if filtered for 77032 = Jen

    I'd appreciate the help!

Use pivot tables..Count of Bob will show up 3 times (maximum). In a separate cell next to the pivot tables you could using match & index to get highest count

This will enabling filtering data too!
