I am trying to calcutate a persons age using this formula =IF(E4<>"",DATEDIF(E4,A4,"y")&"yrs"). Unfortunately, the column sates FALSE (E4 is the Date of Birth and A4 is today's date). Could someone explain what am I doing incorrectly?
Thank you

Is E4 blank? If it is, the formula will show 'False'

That probably means that E4 IS blank.
Yes it is blank. However, I want it to remain blank until I input a date of birth.

you should input at E4 date of birth
in that case change your formula to
=IFERROR(DATEDIF(E4,A4,"y")&"yrs","")
