Format cell formula got - on the number

i need a format cell formula that can have some "-" to separate the long number.
example when i key in 0123456789, it will show 012-34-5678-9

thanks, jeffreybrown，i need a format cell , i have try ###-##-####-#. it show 12-34-5678-9 , the number 0 is gone. it should be have another format cell can make it . please help .
