Hi,
I am trying to use conditional formatting.
Bascally I want the cell to highlight if it contains /06. The cells may look like L*6123 05/06 or L6000321 04/06.
Thanks.

Thanks for quick response - i've managed to tweek it and make it work for me - so thanks.
Just wondering now if you know after conditionally formatting the cells say red is there anyway of now counting how many red cells there are on a row?
Cheers.

Don't know how to count colors without VBA or an addin. This being said, as your formatting is based on a condition I would try an array formula
