Question Drop-down menu of Salary Multipliers?

Hi everyone - I'm an intermediate Excel user and already tried many of the prior posts on this topic. I think (hope) my issue is easier than most.

I'm building an insurance benefit calculator and have all of the steps finished *except* being able to condense one part of the calculator into a drop-down. I need to be able to give my customer a drop-down that multiplies employee salary (2x salary - 10x salary). Rather than have 10 lines of formulae, I'd rather have them just be able to input salary in A4, and then in B4 they drop-down to pick what benefit the employee opted for (2x-10x). Output is going into C4 and then rounding up to the next highest in D4 (already got this step down).

I'm in Excel 2010 and might need to be walked through in very clear steps if this involves data validation, etc....

Thanks so much if you know a quick and relatively painless way to do this!

Easiest way ... select the cell, click on data>validation. Choose LIST and enter this in the field:
    2x Salary, 3x Salary, 4x Salary, 5x Salary, 6x Salary, 7x Salary, 8x Salary, 9x Salary,10x Salary
