Index/Match functions used with a pivot table

    Hello all,

I'm looking for a way to pull information from a pivot table, that isn't a getpivotdata function. I'm trying to track time spent performing audits. There are 5 audit types, and each occurs multiple times per year, so I need to be able to track by month and quarter. If I use getpivotdata functions, the formula will be loooooooong to accomodate all the possible scenarios. Can index and/or match functions be used to pull data from a pivot?

Yes. Place the cell number in the formula instead of clicking on the pivot table itself. I'm not sure if that's the answer you're looking for but it might help.
