Question Two columns in excel sheet, based on criteria in the second column a data validation list

    Hello Members
I have two columns in my sheet. First column contains a growing list of text books. Second column contains which academic Course uses this. eg. A2= "Othello" B2= "B A Honours". Required is a dynamic Validation list that changes according to the Course name entered in another sheet . Can this be done without VBA

    Hi Byju,

    Welcome to the forum.
Yes this can be done without VBA and with the help of Indirect function and defined name(s).

Would it be fine if I share a sample workbook which you can replicate at your end OR you would want to upload a sample workbook ... ?
