Vlookup wtih Sum

Hello,

I have a budget list.

One column has the subcategories of the costs in it: Other, Clothes, Food etc.
The other one has the amount
The subcategories are repeated, so there are 5x food cells etc

What formula can I use to say, when you find the word "Other" in this range of cells sum up all the value in this range that have "Other" in the cell besides it.

You can use the formula sumif()
