Copy/Paste Index Formula Cells

Hi there,

I need to copy and paste a cell downwards that has an index formula. So if you go to the attachment you can see on sheet one how there is an index formula in A1 on Sheet1 (=INDEX(Sheet2!A:A,1,1)) that retrieves cell A1 from Sheet2. I want to be able to copy and paste this index formula downwards on Sheet1 so it gets the rest of the data. It might seem strange what I am trying to do as of course I could just use =Sheet2!A1 in A1 of sheet 1 and copy and paste that down and that will work; but this document is just an example of a lot more complex workbook I am working on so I have to have the index formula involved. I appreciate your help!
