can anyone help start me off in the right direction.
i Would like to create a piece of vba that would search a worksheet for the last entry in column D:D. for any year excluding the current year. and copy and insert the last row for that year on the next row (or Underneath the last entry for that year).
It would then be run as a end of year type function. There are more than 500 worksheets but they are all formatted the same that the VBA would need to run on, they are sandwhiced between 2 blank works sheets "start" & "end".
Below is two examples copied from the sheet fig 1 is as the sheet is at present & Fig 2 is an example of how the sheet might look after the VBA has run.
