build unique list from data worksheet that updates based on data selection? Example incl..

I'm having a tough time figuring out how to accomplish the following:

I have 2 worksheets. Once is a "Menu" of items from a "Data" list.

My goal is to:

- Make items in 'Menu' worksheet auto-populate with data for each unique 'item' from 'Data' worksheet, using the first instance as the default

- Then, Create a selection drop down (data validation?) based on the 'Choice' field in Data, which would update all fields in Menu to the selected choice.

Maybe looking at the example would make it clear....
