Plot where blank fields are ignored, not displayed.

    Hi!

I have an excel file where some raw data is used for some calculations and the results are used in a plot.
The raw data pasted into the sheet will have anywhere between 1000-8000 rows of data.

I've made a worked example to show the code that I've done so far. If the data sheet doesn't contain data, i.e. only some of the rows are not empty, then the cell should be empty. This part works fine.

However, when I plot the data, I only want to show the non-blank cells in the graph. Right now a blank cell ("") is considered as having the value zero. (Row 28-31 in the example)

Is there anyway to let excel know that if the cells are blank then don't plot the cells?

    regards,

What you need is probably dynamic named ranges for charts. See if this helps

Re: Plot where blank fields are ignored, not displayed.

I have an issue now with the Horizontal (category) Axis labels. It shows only the standard numbering. If I choose the label range (date format) it shows only the first label.

I tried naming the label range just like the data ranges using the offset function but this doesn't seem to work either.

    any suggestions?
