Replacing a UPC Number without Modifying a Model Number

Hell All,

I figure there is a way to do this, but I am too new to excel to be familiar enough. I have about 1000 cells that need to have a upc number removed.

Here is an example of the information the cell currently contains:

Table - Manufacturer - Model 152552 - UPC 9598622601661

I need to use find and replace (I think) to make the cell go to

Table - Manufacturer - Model 152552

Effectively removing the UPC. This needs to be done to about 1000 or so cells with all different UPC numbers so I figure find and replace is best?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Replace " - UPC*" (sans quotes) with nothing.

Is there such a command for letters or characters as well?

For example instead of UPC * to replace numbers, 123 ~ to replace letters?
