Comparing two lists and copying across entries which have no match

Hi, this is probably a very simple one, but appreciate any help available.

I have two lists of entries, in columns A and C -- e.g.,


smith jones
jones ball
ball daniels
white smith
wilkins lodge


The columns have some overlap, but are not identical, and are not in a similar order. How can I get a formula that goes down list A, looks up to see if there is a matching entry in C, and if there is NOT a match, copies that entry from A to a new column, E. So in terms of the above, E would read: white, wilkins. Obs I need the formula to copy down.
