Accounting - Macro to delete offsetting values

    Hi Everyone,

I have a large excel workbook with approximately 700k entries, and I need to find entries that don't balance out. Here is a simplistic example:

    15,000
    5,000
    5,000
    -5,000
    -5,000
    1,000
    -1,000
    1,000

In this case, a 1,000 and 15,000 entry would be left and the other rows deleted. This would allow me to see that there is a problem in the $1,000 and $15,000 groups where I'd go through and examine them all in detail. I found a reference to this idea here:

Unfortunately the macro wasn't working for me and I was unsuccessful at debugging it so I'm not sure if it's exactly what I'm looking for.

    Thanks all for your help!

    BK

    Hi

    You can check attachment.

Pl Note. This macro works on Col. E only, there should be heading to col E. It highlights duplicate values with colours & doesn't delete.

    Cheers!!
