Sort by Highest Frequency

I have thousands of values that I'm trying to organize together. I need to sort to find similar values, and order them from highest to lowest frequency.

Example:

www.google.com
www.google.com
www.google.com/maps
www.yahoo.com
www.yahoo.com/sports

I need to filter and sort to group like URLs together, then order from high to low.

First use TextToColumns to parse your data to an empty column.

Step 1: Delimited
Step 2: Check "Other" and enter / in the box.
Step 3: Change destination range to vacant column. In the Data Preview, with the exception of the first column which should be left as "General", select each column in turn and set the radio button at the top to "do not import column (skip)"

Next, in another empty column enter the formula,

Note that A:A should refer to the column holding the original list, A2 should refer to the first entry. Fill the formula down to the end of the list.

Sort first by the text to columns output, then by the formula results in descending order.
