How to display 25.33 (hh:mm) as 25.55 (decimal) ?

Hi, people,

In Excel 2007, I have a column of Times, like hh:mm.
At the bottom of the column, the times are added up, to arrive at a total of hours and minutes.
When it adds up to More than 24 hours, how do I put that in another cell in Decimal format?
Like, in the "Total hh:mm" cell is 27:33.
How do I put (in another cell) 27.55?

I found that...
=HOUR(G63)+MINUTE(G63)/60
will put "3.55" but I want it to say "27.55".

?

hi Mark53, you can try this:
=TEXT(G63,"[hh]")+MINUTE(G63)/60

then change the formatting to General

[shg]

=sum(a1:a10)*24 and format as 0.00
