What's this all about? Very annoying! And not that there are a few random numbers that are displayed correctly...what's up with the rest?

HI hpkelley,
Welcome to the forum.
It happens with me when I am using low resourced machine and I remove a object from the excel sheet, then sheets refreshes back after minimizing / maximizing the window

Go to a blank cell (which doesn't have the problem) and use the format painter to copy the format over to the affected cells. Does that help?
I just tried this and it initially worked. Then I minimized/maximized Excel to find that it was re-chopped.
Thanks.

You'll want to note that every number but "1" is chopped on the left...
bump
Update 1: brand new computer/operating system and it still happens
Update 2: It seems to only occur in cells in the "Accounting" Number Format.
UPDATE 3: HUGE DISCOVERY, just now!!!
- if I minimize from the tab at the top, then maximize from the Taskbar, viola, all's well...until you scroll, then the left-most digit is chopped.
- to further complicate this one, only what scrolls up into the "frozen panes" is initially chopped, then, at some seemingly random point, every left-most digit on the spreadhseet shows up chopped
- if I minimize from the Taskbar and then maximize, every left-most digit is chopped.
Who's got this figured out? And does anybody else have this issue or am I alone?
Thanks.
- couple extra keywords -
cut, half, missing, currency, display, malfunction, graphics, nVidia, problem, Microsoft, visible, partial, trim
This appears to be a screen refresh problem.
How large is this file? Does it have a lot of graphics in it?
You could try switching to Manual Calculation to see if that helps.
